Southeast Church of Christ
We began more than 100 years ago. We’d love for you to join us for the next 100 years. This section will help you learn who we are and where we’re headed.

Our Ministries are active and thriving, but there is always room for one more. You.
Please keep your child at home if he/she has any of the following:
Fever (greater than 100.4 orally, 101.4 rectally, or 99.4 armpit)
Vomiting (2 or more episodes in 24 hours)
Diarrhea (4 or more loose stools in 24 hours)
Any unexplained rash
Any skin infection
Any eye infection
any communicable disease that has been documented by a health care provider
For your child to return to school:
he/she must be fever free for 24 hours
he/she must be free of vomiting/diarrhea for 24 hours
if your child has been diagnosed with a communicable disease by a health care provider, your child must have documentation from that provider that the child is no longer contagious
If your child becomes ill while at school:
your child will be isolated from the other children and made as comfortable as possible
when possible, your child will be evaluated by the Physician Assistant on church staff
you will be contacted to make arrangements to take your child home.
If your child is injured while at school:
your child will immediately be evaluated by either the Program Director or the Physician Assistant on church staff
if the Program Director or Physician Assistant determine that the injury is a medical emergency, appropriate first aid/CPR will be begun by those appropriately trained, 911 will be notified, and the parents will be notified immediately
if the Program Director or Physician Assistant determine that the injury is serious enough to warrant medical attention, or if the injury prevents the child from participating in activities, the parents will be notified immediately
if the injury is considered mild (minor scrapes or bruises), the parents will be notified at the end of the school day
teachers will report all injuries to the parents in an accident report form
Immunization records/charts are required to be kept on file in order for each child to be and stay enrolled in our program.
These records are needed at the beginning of each school year.
Please turn these in to the Director to be added to your child’s file.
Should a child not be picked up on time (BY 1:30pm), our late policy will go in effect. Obviously, we know that situations arise where you could be held up or caught in traffic. In this case, you must call the office to inform us of this situation before 1:20pm.
Our teachers have other responsibilities in the afternoon and cannot be responsible for supervising your child after 1:35pm. If there is a parent that is consistently late (after 1:30pm), they will be charged $1 per minute for each minute after 1:35pm. A note will be sent home from the director with your child informing you of the late charge. It can be paid the following month with the monthly registration fee.
