When did you join the SE staff?

I have served as an elder for Southeast since 2005. My staff duties were added in June of 2009

What’s playing on your iPod right now?

My ipod is my iphone. The music I have on it ranges from golden oldies to Josh Groban. The songs tend to be gospel with a sprinkling of Enya, Willie Nelson, the Eagles, and Johnny Cash.

What’s your favorite way to spend a day?

I really enjoy volunteering in the Emergency Room at Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center. It is a premier level one trauma center and most people there are in crisis and appreciate a calm, caring presence.

What books have you read more than once?

Other than the Bible, probably none; however, I am tempted to read the Shack again. Maybe I will on day.

Where in the world would you love to travel to?

The Holy Land. I have had the opportunity to be on every continent except Australia in the last few years, but have not made it to Palestine.

What word would most people use to describe you?

Old.

On an everyday basis, where do you most clearly see God?

In people serving people for the sake of Jesus.
